What is Secret Of Kagehara ?

Secret Of Kagehara is a J-Horror TTRPG heavily inspired by Junji ito's works and other J-Horror movies. In Secret of Kagehara, players take on the roles of high school students entangled in eerie supernatural events. The game begins with a rumor that players hear, leading them to investigate it and ultimately confront the main villain.

Hi everyone, thanks for checking out Secret of Kagehara. This is my first TTRPG, and since English is my second language, I apologize for any awkward wording or spelling mistakes. I created this game as a submission for the One-Page RPG Jam 2024.

The inspiration behind this game came from my desire to run a horror investigation game between my group's D&D campaigns. I wanted a one-shot, rules-light Horror RPG that could be prepared in less than 30 minutes. Secret of Kagehara is the result of that effort. The game heavily relies on GM improvisation, with the rules serving as a framework and idea seeds that the GM can implement and adapt to their liking.
